INQUIRIES, ETC., FROM OUTSIDE NEW ZEALAND.
Adelaide (South Australia). —A warrant has been issued for the arrest of George Christopher Perceval Allen for shooting with intent to murder William Gill (detective) at Adelaide on the Bth July, 1929. Description : Age twenty-one, height about sft. 9 in., native of England, slight build, fair complexion, brown hair, light-brown eyes, high insteps ; dressed in a grey suit, tan shoes, grey felt hat, and grey or fawn overcoat: smart appearance. He is a dangerous criminal, and is also wanted on another charge of shooting with intent to murder Constable Mitchell at Adelaide on the sth July, 1929. If located an urgent communication is to be sent to the Commissioner of Police, Wellington. (See South Australian Police Gazette, 1929, page 293.) (C.R. 29/133.)
