Whangarei. 27th May -last, the property of JAMES KLIN AC, Waipapa, a gentlemen’s Farmer’s bicycle, six copper rivets in back of saddle, rat-trap pedals; value, £4 10s. Identifiable.

Auckland. —27th ultimo, from the shop of WILLIAM MacMILLAN, 115 Hobson Street, a cash-box (recovered) and £62 ss. in money (including thirty-seven sovereigns). Not identifiable.

H. Kissling, Sculling Championship, Judge’s Bay Regatta, 1889,” on back; a Durham-Duplex razor in case; and a white metal neck - chain with crystal drop attached : total value, £l2 19s. Suspicion is attached to Two Men (names unknown) (l) age about twenty-eight, height about 5 ft. 10 in., medium build, dark complexion ; dressed in a blue suit, heavy dark-blue overcoat, and grey felt hat: and (2) age about twenty-eight, height about 5 ft. 8 in., medium build, dark complexion, nose appears to be broken ; wearing grey flannel trousers repaired on right knee, blue overcoat, and grey felt hat.

Huntly. —loth instant, the property of DAVID JOHNSTON McGILL, a Neptune fountain pen with “ John Leslie Buckley ” on rubber tube inside, a metal wrist-watch with one strap - loop missing, a tobacco - pouch, and 3s. 6d. in money; total value, £1 10s. Identifiable except money. Suspicion is attached to Kopu or Koutu, age about twentytwo, height about 5 ft. 6 in., Maori, slight build, copper complexion, black hair, brown eyes ; dressed in a blue serge suit.

Hamilton. —On or about the 3rd April last, from a washhouse at Karamu, the property of JOHN CAMPBELL GROVE, a -22 single-shot rifle, No. 3461, and one hundred •22 cartridges ; value, £1 15s. Rifle identifiable.

Rotorua. ■ — On the 17th or 18th instant the store of WILLIAM HOOKER, Tutanekai Street, was broken into and the following stolen : £5 3s. in money, a dozen Newton Premier table knives, eighteen dessert knives made by Sheffield Steel Products, two dozen dessert forks, a dark-brown leather brief-bag with “ W. Hooker ” on silver plate on outside, a greenstone tiki about 4 in. in length, a piece of greenstone about 4 in. by \ in., and a quantity of cigarettes, chocolates, &c. ; total value, £24 15s. 9d. Brief-bag identifiable.

New Plymouth.- —2nd ultimo, the property of RONALD SIDNEY HANLY, Devon Street, a gentlemen’s blackenamelled free-wheel B.S.A. bicycle, upturned handles, rattrap pedals, Michelin tire on front wheel, John Bull tire on back wheel; value, £4. Identifiable.

Christchurch. —On the 27th May last the dwelling of JESSIE FRAME, 122 Fitzgerald Street, St. Albans, was broken into and the following stolen : A gold ring with five diamonds in claw setting, “ G.A.F.” and “ J.1L8.” or “ J. 8.” engraved inside ; a fine gold chain with gold heart - shape locket, with “ Pat ” engraved on front; a gold locket, Victoria Cross shape, with fine twisted gold wire chain attached ; and 13s. in money : total value, £l6 10s.
