Mount Albert. Between the Ist and 12th October last, from 18 Vincent Road, the property of ADA ELIZABETH TAYLOR, a radiator for a 1927 model Ford motor-car, nickelplated ; value, £7. Identifiable.

Queen Street Wharf (Auckland). —13th November last, from the launch “ Nikola,” the property of GEORGE KEITH, Kaiaua, New Brighton, a gentlemen’s open-face silver watch, 15 jewels, gold hands, “ Gaven ”on dial; value, £3. Identifiable.

Auckland. 2lst ultimo, from 161 Hobson Street, the property of ERNEST DE TOUREET, a V.P. Kodak camera, No. 256722, F 7.7 lens, corners of bellows repaired with cloth ; value, £2. Identifiable.

Ponsonby.— 2nd ultimo, from Vermont Street, the property of JAMES STEWART KELLY, 13 Wellpark Avenue, a gentlemen’s -enamelled Monarch Special bicycle, No. 1234 b, upturned handles, red rubber grips (left missing!, Dunlop tires ; value, £5 10s. Identifiable.

Onehunga. 2Bth or 29th October last, from a motor-car which was destroved by fire at Mangere, the property of WILLIAM STANLEY TAYLOR, Te Papapa, a pair of electric head-lamps ; a pair of black parking-lamps ; a carburettor ; a generator ; a gear-lever; three rims ; a Michelin tire, size 815 x 120 ; and a Clincher and a Goodyear tire, size 811 x 105 : total value, £2B 17s. Identifiable.

Otahuhu. —Between the 30th November last and the 7th December, from a show-case in Great South Road, the property of JOHN GREENLESS, a gentlemen’s signet-ring, with “ T.S.” or “ R.S.” engraved on shield; and a ladies’ dress-ring with pearl in' claw setting : total value, £4 ss. Identifiable.

Otahuhu. 22nd November last, the property of JONAS UNDERWOOD, 'Princess Street, a gentlemen’s blackenamelled free-wheel Royal Standard bicycle, upturned handles, rubber pedals ; value, £6. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to Claude Donald Bright, age about forty-six, height 5 ft. 6 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, stout build, dark complexion, dark-brown hair, brown eyes. He has been interviewed, but no evidence resulted.

Tauranga. 27th ultimo, the property of JOB REID, fisherman, a gentlemen’s light-grey overcoat with belt, a cream silk shirt, and a dark travelling-rug ; total value, £4. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to John Pope, alias Tredern, age twentyone, height 5 ft. 6 in., labourer, native of England, medium build, fair complexion and hair, blue eyes, slight cast in left eye ; dressed in a grey suit and light-grey overcoat, no hat. Suspect was working for complainant, and after he left the property was missed. He is also suspected of stealing two Post Office money-boxes containing about £6 in money from the dwelling of ISABELLA WILLIAMS, Elizabeth Street, between the 22nd and 28th ultimo. Not identifiable.

Hamilton. 24th ultimo, the property of CHARLES SFONG, 9 Hood Street, a gentlemen’s free-wheel bicycle’ straight handles, rat-trap pedals; value, £5. Identifiable.

Rotorua. — sth or 6th instant, from a motor-car in the yard of the Palace Hotel, the property of JOHN RUSSELL, Hood Street Hamilton, a Delco Remy generator, No. 940410 ; value, £lO 15s. Identifiable.

Napier. —l7th October last, the property of ALEXANDER McFARLANE JOHNSTON, Avenue Road, Greenmeadows, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled free-wheel Argyle bicycle, straight handles, Mercure tire on front wheel, Dominion tire on back wheel; value, £4. Identifiable.

' Palmerston North. — 13th November last, from Rangitikei Street, the property of LESLIE K. JACKSON, 12 Anliaudale Avenue, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled free-wheel Cooksley bicycle, No. 84411, upturned handles, rubber grips, Cooksley transfer ; value, £5. Identifiable.

Darfield. — the 29th December last and the Ist instant the dwelling of PHYLLIS MULLAY, Springfield, was broken into and the following stolen : A dark-brown rug, with red and white stripes on one side ; two biscuit-and-white -towels ; a pair of white blankets ; three ladies’ heliotrope and two lemon-colour nightdresses ; and a ladies’ green felt hat: total value, £6. Dunedin. 3rd ultimo, the property of LESLIE JAMES HOGG, Kensington Drill-hall, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled free-wheel bicycle, No. 3521 b, upturned handles, no grips ; value, £3. Identifiable.

Dunedin. — Bth ultimo, from Anderson’s Bay Road, the property of ANDREW RENNIE, 39 Spotswoocl Street, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled Rival bicycle, No. 13913, upturned handles, no grips, rat-trap pedals ; value, £3. Identifiable.

Dunedin. —On the Btlx instant the shop of FREDERICK JOHN TOWNSEND, 40 George Street, was broken into, and the following stolen : Four rings, a pair of opera-glasses, a fountain pen (recovered), forty-five 18 ct. gold weddingrings, twelve assorted gilt keeper-rings, eighty ladies’ gold dress-rings, twelve ladies’ and gentlemen’s gold signet-rings, thirty gold wristlet watches with gold expanding bracelets or ribbon straps attached, twelve gentlemen’s rolled-gold or silver Baume, Omega, and Waltham watches, several gold and rolled-gold watch-chains, six leather tobacco-pouches, six leather pocket-books, six leather cigarette-cases, thirty-six assorted pearl necklaces, twelve Onoto or Swan fountain pens, twenty silver-lined gold bangles, twenty-four silver or metal Eversharp pencils, and three pairs opera-glasses with black leather coverings: total value, £3OO. Not identifiable. Suspicion is attached to D. R. Rigir, alias Riga!”, age about .thirty, height about 5 ft. 6 in., strong build, fair complexion and hair ; dressed in a brown coat and vest, grey trousers, and grey cap. Henry Ernest Foote, who has been arrested for the offence, states that he was assisted by Rigir and Thomas Gordon Boyd. The latter has been arrested on another charge, and denies being associated with Foot®, but states that Foote was accompanied by Rigir when the offence was committed.

Dunedin. —Between the 22nd and 27th ultimo, from a damaged Oldsmobile motor-car at Waitahuna, the property of ARTHUR ERNEST BECK, 154 David Street, six motor side curtains, a radiator-cap, a petrol cap, a tail-light, a speedometer (registering .10,700 miles), a parking-lamp, two floor-mats, an Oldsmobile monogram and knob of -lever, and globes and rims of head-lamps, &c. ; total value, £22 6s. 6d. Mostly identifiable.
