Ponsonby.— 25th ultimo, James Thomas Alexander Gibson, age forty, height 5 ft. 9 in., barman and porter, native of New Zealand, slight build, dark complexion, dark brown hair, blue eyes, large ears, long nose, deep forehead, clean-shaved ; dressed in a navy-blue suit, fawn felt hat, and black patent-leather shoes; slightly stooped. Blenheim. Since the 6th instant, Harold George Mclntosh, age forty-six, height 5 ft. 91 in., mercer, native of New Zealand ; dressed in a grey suit and cap and tan shoes, and wears heavy horn-rimmed glasses ; slightly stooped. He was last seen in a 12 ft. slate-coloured dinghy on the Opawa River in the vicinity of the Wairau Bar. Fears are entertained for his safety. Inquiry by his wife, Jean Elizabeth Mclntosh, Main Street.
Oamabu. —Since the 19th ultimo, William Leo Croft, alias Mick Croft, age thirty, height 5 ft. 91 in., labourer and photographer, native of New Zealand, stout build, brown hair, grey eyes ; well dressed in a grey or black suit, light-coloured cap and dark tan shoes, wears rimless glasses, and may be wearing a watch-chain consisting of half-sovereigns ; quiet manner. He may be employed about a shearing-shed. Inquiry by his mother, Mary Ellen Croft, Pukeuri Junction, who fears for his safety.
