APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Whangarei.— George Edward Bellinger, alias Williamson, forgery and uttering, has been arrested by the Gisborne police. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 595.)

Auckland.— Claude Daniel Ogier, inquiry for, has been interviewed by the Hamilton police. (See Police Gazette, 1926, page 190.)

Auckland. George Edward Hiffiks Searl, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Hastings police. He had assumed the name George Edwards. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 279.)

Auckland. — Bsr Singh, unlawfully remaining in New Zealand, has been arrested by the Queen Street Wharf (Auckland) police. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 611.)

Auckland. — Philip Vaimie Parker, failing to maintain Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 358.)

Auckland.— Leslie Alfred John Walters, suspected of theft, has been interviewed by the Auckland police, but no evidence resulted. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 568.)

Thames. Samuel Hicks, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount to the Waihi police. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 486.)

Waiiii. Samuel Thomas Hicks, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Waihi police. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 623.)

Te Kuiti.— J. D. Shannon, breach of Licensing Act, has been served with a summons by the Te Kuiti police. (See Police Gazette, 1926, page 616.)

New Plymouth. — Douglas Thomas Rodgers, alias Henry Hardy, false pretences, has been arrested by the Christchurch police. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 506.)

Inglewood. — George Nilson, forgery and uttering, has been arrested by the Hamilton police. His correct name is George Edward Nelson, and he is not identical with George Thomas Nelson referred to in Police Gazette, 1928, page 228. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 536.)

Dannevirke.— George Edward Bernsee, forgery and uttering, has been arrested by the Hamilton police. His correct name is George Edward Nelson. (See Police Gazette, 1928, pages 296 and 308, and preceding paragraph.)

Napier.— Charles Richard Smith, default of fine and costs, has paid the amount to the Napier police. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 550.)

Napier. Arthur Cook, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Seatoun police. (See Police Gazette, 1927, page 638.)

Wanganui. — Robert William Stent, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the New Plymouth police. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 640.)

North-east Valley. William Gharnley, drunkenness and obscene language, has been arrested by the Wellington police. His correct name is William James Charnley. (See Police Gazette, 1922, page 4.)

Invercargill. Richard Jones, alias Preston, default of fine and costs, has been arrested by the Wanganui police. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 487.)
