MISSING.
Auckland. Frederick Poyner, missing. The cardboard box and contents and the brief-bag were found at the shop of J. C. Sharland, chemist, Shortland Street, where they were left by Poyner in December last. (See Police Gazette, 1928, page 419.)
Dunedin. Since 28th ultimo, John William Young, age thirty-nine, height 5 ft. 3 in., barman, native of New Zealand, slight build ; dressed in a grey suit, light-grey felt hat, and navy-blue macintosh. A returned soldier, and suffers from war injuries. Inquiry by Dorothy Peat, 24 Moreau Street, St. Kilda, who fears for his safety.
