On the 4th ultimo he was convicted on the above charge and ordered to come up for sentence within six months. Accused obtained £3 from Henry Bodley, hotelkeeper, by means of a valueless cheque for £5, which he tendered in payment for his board and lodging. He may be identical with J. E.
