INQUIRIES, ETC., FROM OUTSIDE NEW ZEALAND.
Sydney (Australia). -On the 12th ultimo the premises of EUGENE KENNY, 55 Victoria Road, were broken into and the following stolen therefrom : £l4 in money ; a gold keyless Waltham watch, “ J.M.K.” engraved on outside ; an 18 ct. gold bangle, with shamrock and raised knobs ; a 15 ct. gold p’ain flexible bracelet; an 18 ct. gold five-stone diamond ring ; an 18 ct. gold ring with a pearl in claw setting ; an 18 ct. gold ring set with a pearl and onyx ; an 18 ct. gold signet-ring set with a deer’s head in bloodstone ; an 18 ct. gold ring set with a turquoise ; an 18 ct. gold ring with moonstone in claw setting ; an 18 ct. gold brooch with three harps set in pearls ; a double string of pearls with diamond and sapphire clasp ; a single string of pearls ; an attache - case with “ E.K.” in gold letters thereon ; a key-ring with two Yale keys, a door-key, and a -key thereon : total value, £45.
