MISCELLANEOUS INFORMATION.

Circular No. 13/27.] Uniform Clothing. Night-duty Coats. —A new pattern night-dutv overcoat has been adopted, and will be issued to replace the present night-duty coats as the latter become worn out and unserviceable. In requisitions for the new-pattern coat the length of coat applied for should be such that when worn the bottom of the coat will be 18 in. from the ground. Leather waist-belts will not be worn with the new-pattern night-duty coat. When the new coats are issued, the waistbelts are to be handed in, and carefully stored at District Headquarters pending instructions as to their disposal. Waterproof Coats. —Waterproof coats will in future be made without outside pockets. One pocket will be provided inside the coat. The size of the coat will be shown on a tab sewn under the facing on the right side near the bottom of the coat. The register number of the member of the Force to whom it is issued and the date of issue will be stencilled under the pocket. These numbers must not be defaced or interfered with in any way.
