Putaruru.— AßTHUß PAYNE BETTS’ bicycle has been found abandoned. (See Police Gazette, 1927, page 320.)
Feilding. MoGßUEß’S LTD. premises broken into: The suit-case, two boys’ cardigans, three rugs, a gentlemen’s fawn overcoat, three gentlemen’s suits, a black-and-white silk scarf, three pairs underpants, three flannels, six pairs socks, a grey shirt, two striped shirts, two pairs trousers, six pairs ladies’ stockings, a pair of braces, four collars, three handkerchiefs, two ties, and two ladies’ leather belts have been recovered by the Feilding police. Wellington.— WlLLlAM KENMIR BUNGE’S megger has been recovered by the Wellington police, and Horace Claude Wainwright convicted of the offence. (See Police Gazette, 1927, page 715.)
Wellington.— NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT’S (Post and Telegraph Department) letters and cheques have been found abandoned. (See Police Gazette, 1927, page 670.)
Invercargill. FRANCIS VERNON KINGLAND’S watch has been found : not stolen. (See Police Gazette, 1927, page 671.)
