Auckland. — On the Bth or 9th instant the shop of JOHN GORDON HOOK, Great North Road, was broken into, and a quantity of tobacco, cigarettes, &c., stolen therefrom ; total value, £32 Bs. 7d. Not identifiable.

Auckland. the 4th and 6th ultimo the premises of STEWART HILL, 113 Upper Symonds Street, were broken into and the following stolen therefrom : Twelve pairs red rubber knee-boots, sizes 8 and 9, “ Hi-Press ” on front of each near top ; twelve red rubber air-cushions, Cauot Chouc make, star-shape brand with “ V.P.E.W.” thereon; about fifty Leyland hot-water bags with “ Guaranteed Leyland English make” thereon; four tire-pressure gauges, Y.S. Auckland. — llth ultimo, from a dressing-shed at the North Shore Football Ground, the property of JAMES DAWSON, 27 Lincoln Street, Ponsonby, a chased silver Centennial Point pencil; a silver match-box, book shape ; a fawn silk handkerchief, about 3 ft. square ; and 9s. in money, &c. : total value, £2 16s. 6d. Auckland.On the 30th ultimo the dwelling of WILLIAM THOMAS CUMBERLAND, 444 Manukau Road, was broken into and the following stolen therefrom : A gentlemen’s silver keyless hunting-watch, shield in centre of back case ; a gold curb watch-chain ; a concave silver cigarette-case with round shield on front, scored facing ; a ladies’ 15 ct. or 18 ct. gold dress-ring set with five opals (one missing); a ladies’ gold band ring set with a pale ruby ; and £5 7s. in money: total value, £24 7s.
