Auckland. l7th ultimo, on warrant for failing to maintain his wife, Lillian May Chegwidden,, 134 Marine Parade, Napier, and four children, Elias Chegwidden, age thirty-six, height 5 ft. 9 in., carpenter, native of New Zealand, strong build, fair complexion, light-brown hair, clean-shaved ; dressed in a navy-blue or grey suit.

Auckland. —On or about the 21st February last, for obscene exposure, Man (name unknown), age about thirty, height 5 ft. 3 in., medium build, black hair; wearing a blue overcoat and hat. In Portage Road, New Lynn, accused obscenely exposed himself within the view of Thelma Oxton, Karaka Street, Avondale South. No warrant.

Auckland. 2Bth February last, on warrant of commitment to Wellington Prison for two months in default of paying £l6 55., arrears due on a maintenance order for the support of his two children, George Edward Dyer, age about thirty-six, height 6 ft., picture-theatre manager, native of New Zealand, slight build, sallow complexion, dark-brown hair, brown eyes, clean-shaved ; dressed in a navy-blue suit. Auckland. —During the night of the 31st ultimo some person or persons broke and entered the Post-office at New Lynn and attempted to open the safe by means of explosives. On the same night the railway-station at New Lynn was broken into. There was nothing stolen at either place. Accused engaged James Coxon, taxi-proprietor, to drive him to Oastlecliff and the public hospital. At the latter place he eluded complainant and disappeared without paying his fare, £l. He may be identical with Arnold Vaughan Sutton, referred to in Police Gazette, 1925, page 659, and with Arnold Sutton, referred to in Police Gazette, 1925, page 656. There are other similar charges pending.

Palmerston North. February last, on warrant for failing to maintain his illegitimate child, of whom Gladys Hill, domestic, Rangiotu, is the mother, Ivan Pickering, age about twenty-five, height 6 ft., seaman and labourer, medium build, fair complexion, black hair, blue eyes ; dressed in a navy-blue suit, brown felt hat, and navy-blue overcoat.

Pahiatua. —16th ultimo, on warrant of commitment to Wellington Prison for one month in default of paying £9 155., arrears due on a maintenance order for the support of his illegitimate child, Henry James David Corkill, Melville Edward Leslie Oliver, age twenty-eight, height 5 ft. 9 in., labourer and slaughterman, native of New Zealand, medium build, fair complexion and hair, blue eyes. Whilst the children were playing in the recreation-grounds accused indecently assaulted them. He is supposed to be identical with a Man (no description available) who in the above grounds indecently exposed himself within the view of Ngaire Stewart, age six. No warrant.

Wellington. —loth July last, that he may be located and the Superintendent of Police, Wellington, notified, Donald Jenkinson, alias McLaren, age nineteen, height 5 ft. 7 in., labourer, strong build, dark complexion, dark hair, cast in right eye, -shaved ; dressed in a dark-blue suit, light-" grey felt hat; and tan boots ; coarse voice. He is suspected of theft of £5 Is. 6d., the property of James Kent, labourer, 91 Pirie Street.
