Takaeuna. —On or about the Ist July last, the property of JOHN KNIGHT, Albany, two shorthorn bulls, one roan and the other dark red, 2-|- years old, straight horns, earmarked with square piece out under side of left ears near tips ; total value, £2B 7s. Identifiable.

Auckland. Between 11.30 a.m. on the 19th and noon on the 20th instant the premises of the ARCTIC FUR CO., Jersey Street, Newton, were broken into, and the following stolen therefrom: Seven peshaniki fur coats, skins resemble musqwash, several have two or three bands of reversed skins running round bottom of coats, lined with brocaded silk ; a dark marmot fur coat, mink colour, large size, 38 in. bust, two shades of skins running right to left at bottom of coat, silk and cotton brocaded lining of blue and gold ; a dark marmot fur coat, mink colour, large size, 40 in. bust, three strands of skin at bottom of coat, brocaded lining of blue and gold colour in silk or cotton, with square collar ; a dark marmot fur coat, mink colour, 38 in. bust, two bands of skins round bottom of coat, brocaded linings of blue and grey colour ; nine kolinsky coats made from longhaired rabbit-skins, the base of fur is dark brown and the tips black; a lynx-skin coat, skins larger than rabbit-skins, dyed brown at base of fur and tipped black, fur shorter than rabbit fur, lined with brocaded silk and cotton, four strands of skins running round bottom of coat; two white rabbit-skin coats, plain with white lining, silk faced ; a long red Russian foxskin coat, unlined, 42 in. long, large brush ; seven Mongolian fox-skin chokers, lined with silk, elaborately finished, mostly brown crepe linings, resembles red Russian; two white chokers, resemble white fox, lined with white artificial brocaded silk ; twelve Mongolian fox-skins, dressed and ready for the furrier, closely resemble red Russian foxes, large bushy brush; and a brown bear coney coat, 38 in. long, three reverse skins running round the bottom of the coat, lined with brocaded silk and cotton: total value, £6OO 10s. Suspicion is attached to Two Men (names unknown) — age about twenty-two, height about sft. 11 in., slight build, pale complexion, black hair; dressed in a dark suit and black felt hat: (2) age about twenty-nine, height about 5 ft. 5 in., medium build; dressed in a greyish-coloured suit and hat.

Auckland. —Between the Bth December last and the 18th January, from 15 Blomfield Avenue, the property of META LOUISA ARMSTRONG, three cups and saucers and one plate of “ Crown Derby ” china marked underneath with 303 and crown in red, saucers and plates stamped “ Derby,” royal blue, gold, and brick-red design; a brown-leather attache-case with tan-leatherette lining ; and a 9 ct. gold band dress-ring with “ Ada ” engraved thereon : total value, £lB. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to RItSSSII Jordan, age twenty-three, height 6 ft., mechanic, native of New Zealand, medium build, sallow complexion, brown hair and eyes.

Auckland. —On the sth instant, the dwelling of JOHN WYNNE HARLEY, 417 Broadway, was broken into, and about £7 in money and one large and two small stainless table-knives stolen therefrom total value, £7 11s. Not identifiable. Suspicion is attached to Frederick Smith, age about eighteen, height about 5 ft. 2 in., farm hand, medium build, sallow complexion, dark hair, brown eyes ; usually dressed in a dark-grey coat and grey trousers. Bd. in money : total value, £6 9s. 4d. Identifiable except money.

Rotorua. —20th or 21st ultimo, from Arawa House, the property of ALFRED E. BUILDER, three £5 notes, two steamer tickets Wellington-Sydney on s.s. “ Uumaroa,” and a letter of credit from the Union Bank of Australia, Adelaide, for £250 (portion drawn). Identifiable except money.

Wanganui. —Between the 6th and 18th ultimo, from 8 Gurr Street, the property of WILLIAM McHARPER, a •32 five-chambered revolver, No. 20414 on barrel and magazine, “Red Jacket No. 4” branded on barrel, Lee Arms Coy., makers ; value, 10s. Identifiable.

Dannevirke. —7th instant, from the Criterion Hotel, the property of ADA MAUD MARY MANN, a pair of grey blankets and a brown leather Gladstone bag, “ W. Horne” written in ink on tag; total value, £6 3s. Identification doubtful. Suspicion is attached to P. Connelly, age about thirty-five, height 5 ft. 9 in., labourer, medium build, dark complexion and hair ; dressed in a light-grey suit.

Otaki. —sth instant, the property of ALWYN BENNETT, Main Street, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled free-wheel Royal Argyle bicycle, No. 95243, 22 in. frame, nickel-plated handles, no grips ; value, £5. Identifiable.

Wellington. —Between the 29th December last, and the 9th January, the dwelling of BESSIE OSBORN, 10 Hutt Road, Lower Hutt, was broken into, and the following stolen therefrom : A gold kiwi and wishbone brooch set with a mauve stone ; a pair of gentlemen’s dark-grey trousers ; a navy-blue serge sports coat, half-belt, two outside breast pockets with flaps and buttons ; a nickel-plated P.O. Savingsbank money-box, No. 50114 ; and about ss. in money : total value, £5 7s. 6d. Identifiable except money.
