Warkworth. —On the 12th instant the dwelling of GEORGE THOMAS CIVIL was broken into and the following stolen therefrom : A collar - satchel and eight collars (recovered), a gentlemen’s rolled-gold hunting Waltham watch, a two-cell electric torch, and £1 ss. 3d. (among which were two half-sovereigns) ; total value, £7 10s. 3d. Identification doubtful. Suspicion is attached to Man (name unknown), age about thirty, height about 5 ft. 7 in., medium build, dark complexion, round face, clean-shaved ; dressed in a dark suit, and was riding a brown motor-bicycle.

Helensville. —7th instant, from the hut of ARTHUR BURNAND CLARK, Kaukapakapa, a suit-case (recovered) ; five shirts, one brown silk, two white, one red-striped, and one with black stripes, 15-| necks ; five pairs gentlemen’s tan cotton socks ; a Krupp razor with black handle ; a black leather folding wallet; a gentlemen’s fawn overcoat, repair under one pocket; and 15s. in money : total value, £5 15s. Suspicion is attached to George Watson (name probably fictitious), age about thirty-two, height about 5 ft. 7 in., medium build, dark complexion, black wavy hair, clean-shaved ; wearing a grey 7 coat, dark trousers, and hard hat.
