Akaroa.— lsth ultimo, the property of ISABEL SMITH, Jubilee Road, Khandallah, Wellington, and MAY BOURKE, Brunnerton, a plum-coloured gabardine frock coat with plumcoloured silk iining ; a square gilt-edge powder-puff case ; a small vanity case with comb and mirror; a straight black rep-silk overcoat, stand-up collar, half-lined with mauve lining; and a red comb, handkerchiefs, &c. : total value, £l2 19s. Identifiable.
Dunedin. —Bth December last, from a taxi-cab, the property of ALLAN HAMILTON, 270 Crinan Street, a 2a folding Kodak camera, No. 116 film, V-shape, scratch on side of focussing ratchet; value, £4 ss. Identifiable.
Dunedin. Between the 11th and 17th ultimo the dwelling of THOMAS GRAY YOUNG, 627 Castle Street, was broken into, and the following stolen therefrom : A gold cable bangle with safety chain and locket attached; a gold Mosaic firestone brooch ; and four silver teaspoons, with “ J.H.G.” thereon : total value, £7. Identifiable except bangle.
Dunedin. —On the 19th or 20th ultimo the premises of JOHN NEVIS ALLEN CAMERON, hairdresser, 43 Frederick Street, were broken into and the following stolen therefrom : Two pairs Brown and Sharp’s hair-clippers, Nos. 1 and 2 ; a pair of rubber gloves ; and a quantity of tobacco and cigarettes : total value, £3O Bs. 6d.
