Auckland. the Ist and 2nd ultimo the premises of FRANK HERBERT DODD, Queen Street, Onehunga, were broken into and the following stolen therefrom : Two pairs of gentlemen’s black chrome Derby boots, size 7, made by Clarke and Purdy, Auckland; a pair of gentlemen’s black box-calf Derby boots, size 8, tan leather lining, made by Crocker, Auckland ; a pair of ladies’ single-strap tan shoes, size 4, “ Patriata ” branded on soles, made by G. A. Auckland. —2nd ultimo, from the dwelling of CHRISTOPHER LENNOX, 19 Newton Street, a gentlemen’s double 9 ct. gold watch - chain, double fetter-and-four-oval; a goldmounted greenstone and silver flint-box attached ; and „a brown morocco wallet with nickel clasp in centre, containing photos and sundry papers : total value, £6 17s. 6d. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to his wife, Eliza Jane Bain Lennox (from whom he is separated), who has been interviewed by the Otahuhu police, but no evidence resulted.
