About 9.30 p.m. in Dominion Road accused obscenely exposed himself within the view of Mavis Mens, domestic, 33 Onslow Road, and Ellen Kildare, domestic, 2 Brixton Road. No warrant.

Auckland. —17th April last, for theft of an electric box feeder (recovered), value £1 10s., the property of Auckland Electric-power Board, Beach Road, Two Men (names unknown) • —-(1) age thirty-five, height 5 ft. 9 in., slight build, dark complexion ; well dressed in a light-grey suit : and (2) age thirty-five, height 5 ft. 7 in., medium build, dark complexion, scar on one cheek ; dressed in a dark dirty suit. New Plymouth. —3rd instant, that he may be interviewed regarding his attempt to obtain £127 18s. 9d. from Lichtenstein and Paykel, skin-dealers, Auckland, by false pretences, Arthur Tudor Tomlinson, age about thirty, height 5 ft. 8 in., labourer and motor-driver, native of New Zealand, pale complexion, brown hair, thin features, clean - shaved, slightly stooped with head inclined forward. He was dealing in hides at Stratford as agent for Lichtenstein and Paykel, and disappeared about the 2nd January last. If located, the Inspector of Police, New Plymouth, is to be notified, when the file will be forwarded.

. Taihape. —26th February last, on warrant for theft of a Triumph motor-bicycle and side-car (recovered), value £3O, the property of Vemer Clements Nicholls, -proprietor, David Davidson, alias G. D. Davidson, alias David Clarke, age twenty-six, height 5 ft. 10 in., labourer, strong build, dark complexion and hair, blue mark on face ; dressed in brown trousers, dark coat, and light-felt hat; dirty appearance. Accused obtained the bicycle on the hirepurchase system, paying a deposit of £lO and one instalment of £5, leaving a balance of £3O owing. On above date he left the bicycle with David Lewis Hughes, Church Street, Palmerston North, as part-payment of a Bradshaw motorbicycle, which he later exchanged for an Indian. He is also wanted on warrant at Palmerston North for theft of the Bradshaw motor-bicycle referred to. Accused purchased at the Bank of New Zealand, Wellington, a cheque-book, No. S 5652156544, filled in one of the forms for £4105., forged the signature “ J. Coyle, Sec., Hosp. Board,” to it, and uttered it to Edward John Ivory, licensee, Caledonian Hotel, in payment of £1 7s. for two bottles of whisky which he said he would call for later. The photograph of John Reginald Ellis, alias Robert Lucas, alias Jack Clarke, referred to in Police Gazette, 1926, page 367, and Photographs, 1919, page 53, has been identified as that of accused.
