Devonport. —Since the 9th September last, Florence Bird, alias Bennett, age forty-six, height 5 ft. 3| in., married, native of England, dark complexion, black hair turning grey, brown eyes, thin features, straight nose, artificial teeth ; usually wears a fawn overcoat trimmed with black braid. Inquiry by her husband, Albert Bird, 7 Mays Street, Devonport, who is anxious to .discover her whereabouts. . yd d-M //-
Gisborne. Since the 19th instant, Lawrence Shacklock Evans, age fifteen and a half, height about 5 ft. 2 in., native of New Zealand, strong build, dark hair, grey eyes, holds head slightly to one side ; dressed in blue shorts, rough-tweed coat, and cap with “ G.H.S.” on it; wears a gold wristlet -watch, with “ L.S.E.” on it ; may have in his possession a bicycle with spindle of one pedal showing, and a sugar-bag swag. He said he was going to Australia. Inquiry by George L. Evans, 1 Ballance Street, Gisborne, who desires him to be induced to return home. /
