Queen Street Wharf (Auckland). —20th January last, the property of SAMUEL HOLDEN HOWIE, Quay Street, a No. 5 Rexonolo gramophone in oak cabinet, Swiss doublespring worm-driven motor, aluminium sound-box; and nineteen gramophone records : total value, £32. Not identifiable. Suspicion is attached to George Davis (name probably fictitious), age about twenty-four, height about 5 ft. 6 in., medium build, fresh complexion, fair hair brushed back; dressed in a blue suit and black shirt, no hat. Suspect obtained the gramophone on approval and disappeared.

Queen Street Wharf (Auckland). —28th August last, from a show-case at the Winter Show, the property of BARRY AND BEALE, 322 ,Queen Street, a pair of small French binoculars, “ laris Colmont, Ltd. ” stamped on one side and “ Anthinca 6.X ”on the other; value, £6 10s. Identifiable.
