Accused forged a certain document of specifications for the building of a motor-body and attempted to cause Mr. Justice Alpers to act upon it as if it were genuine.

Accused, who arranged to purchase a horse for £6 from Alexander Franks, was allowed to take the horse for trial and disappeared. The saddle and bridle, which was the property of William Home Hargreaves Young, has since been recovered by the Inglewood police. He may be identical with Percy Lewis Ward, alias Jones, referred to in Police Gazette, 1925, pages 288 and 316.
