Newton.24th August last, the property of SIMON SPITZ, 155 Karangahape Road, a gentlemen’s dark-blue-enamelled free-wheel Perfection bicycle, 22 in. frame, reversible handles, Barnet-Glass tire on front wheel, Dunlop Railroad tire on back wheel; value, £lO 10s. Identifiable.

Auckland. On the 16th ultimo the dwelling of ELIZA ORME, 10 Marsden Avenue, was broken into, and the following stolen therefrom : Two gold rings (recovered) ; a gentlemen’s 9 ct. gold band ring, set with a red stone in claw setting ; a small clock with bevelled glass ; a quantity of Greys cigarettes ; and £1 12s. 6d. in money : total value, £lO 12s 6d. Identifiable except cigarettes and money. . Suspicion is attached to John Buckley, alias Herbert Leslie Buckley, alias Thompson, age twenty-one, height 5 ft. 6Jin., painter and labourer, native of New Zealand, medium build, fair complexion and hair, grey eyes, right little finger stiff, scar over left eye, on left foot, and on tip of right forefinger; dressed in a blue or grey suit.
