Whangarei.—Between the 22nd and 24th August last, the property of HILL AND HAGEN, second-hand dealers, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled free-wheel B.S.A. bicycle ; value, £4 10s. Identifiable.

Suspicion is attached to Horacio Acosta, age thirty, height 5 ft. 7 in., labourer, native of Argentine, liredium build, dark complexion, black hair, brown eyes/ scar on top of head and on left forearm, pock-pitted face / dressed in a dark suit and cap ; talkative ; fond of drink. / Suspect took the clothing without authority,. and left a note stating he would return the property from Whakatane, /but failed to do so.
