Avondale.4th May last, from Brown Street, the property of THERESA GOODWIN, Brown Street, a ladies’ bicycle, 26 in. front wheel, 24 in. back wheel, one pedal missing ; value, £3. Identifiable.

Auckland.—Between the 3rd and 4th May last, from a hut at Pornpalier Terrace, Ponsonby, the property of WALTER AMOS CARDER, a gentlemen’s rolled-gold open-face keyless American watch, No. 340158, repairer’s number X.C. 5955, camp, trees, lake, and boat engraved on back ; and a 9 ct. gold single-curb watch-chain : total value, £l4 10s. Watch only identifiable.

Onehunga. ultimo, from a shed at the Te Papapa School, the property of MARTIN MILLIGAN, O’Rorke Road, Penrose, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled bicycle, down-turned handles, Scrang tire on back wheel ; value, £3. Identifiable.

Te Aroha.Between the sth and 6th ultimo the premises of the YOUNG MEN’S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION, Waitoa, was broken into, and £1 in money, two pairs of socks, and three packets of cigarettes stolen therefrom. Suspicion is attached to Hilary Curin, age twenty-one, height 5 ft. 5 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, medium build, dark complexion and hair, blue eyes. He has been interviewed, but no evidence resulted.

Tokomaru Bay.—lst instant, from the Te Puka Hotel, the property of FRANCES WAKEFIELD, a ladies’ open-face gold wristlet watch, gold centre on dial, glass cracked, gold expanding chain attached with eleven finks; total value, £lO 10s. Identifiable.

Napier.2oth ultimo, from the Foresters’ Hall, the property of BARBARA ROBERTS, Flaxmere Station, Hastings, a ladies’ dark-brown-fur coat, figured-silk fining, “L. V. Zala ’ on tab, Girl Guide’s badge attached ; value, £3O. Identifiable.

Hawera.2nd instant, from the Winter Show, the property of A. M. KERRISK, Ohangai, a ladies’ black crochet handbag, containing a ladies’ 18 ct. gold hunting Rotherhams watch, No. 253057, engraved case, “ A. M. Kerrisk ” on back ; and about £2 in money. Identifiable except money.

Wanganui. —During the night of the 12th instant the premises of McFARLANE AND CO., ironmongers, Ridgway Street, were broken into, and the following stolen therefrom : A nickel - plated five - chamber 32 - calibre Harrington and Richardson revolver with double action ; and a nickel-plated five-chamber 32-calibre Young American revolver with double action : total value, £1 3s. Not identifiable.

Palmerston North. Between the 10th and the 13th instant, from a motor-car at the Cafe de Paris Hotel, the property of LEO BLAKE, 40 Waterloo Road, Lower Hutt, a worn leather suit-case and a worn fibre suit-case containing eleven pairs of gentlemen’s tweed trousers ; ten pairs of boys’ tweed shorts ; four pairs of boys’ tweed strap shorts ; a boy’s sports suit; a gentlemen’s sand-coloured sports suit; a gentlemen’s sports coat; four boys’ sac suits ; a ladies’ tweed costume ; and four ladies’ costume coats : total value, £53 4s. Tinui. —Between the Ist and 4th instant, from a swag in a shed at Awatea, the property of WILLIAM CROMBIE, labourer, a brown-leather handbag, containing a Wellington Post-office Savings-bank book showing a credit of £2, three striped shirts with collars (size 16) to match, a Bengal razor, a Plumb razor, a pair of gold-rimmed spectacles, a fountain pen, ties, and braces ; total value, £8 7s. Identifiable.

Wellington. — On the 6th instant the dwelling of LEWIS P. MILLAR, 72 Waipapa Road, Ilataitai, was broken into, and a gold dress-ring, claw-set with three fiery opals and two diamonds alternately (value £2O, identifiable) stolen therefrom. Another ring was also stolen at the same time, but has been found in possession of George Frederick Murphy, who has been arrested by the Wellington police for the offence.

Wellington. —6th instant, from Waterloo Quay, the property of MOY FONG, 38 Courtenay Place, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled free-wheel C.C.M. bicycle, nickel-plated handles with black grips ; value, £l2. Identifiable.

Wellington. 22nd May last, from a waiting-room at Lambton Railway-station, the property of ADELINE MANLEY, Wallaceville, an imitation-leather suit-case, containing £77 in notes ; a Wellington Post-office Savings-bank book, No. 504583 ; an ivory-backed brush ; a pair of ladies’ black-leather boots, size 5| ; and a novel entitled “ May Eve ” : total value, £B3. Identifiable except money.

Christchurch. 2nd March last, from High Street, the property of WILLIAM FRY, 60 Courtney Street, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled free-wheel Bell bicycle, No. 5121, upturned handles, Dunlop tires ; value, £lO. Identifiable.

Christchurch. —3rd ultimo, from the dwelling of MALCOLM CUNNEEN, 62 Thames Street, a pearl necklace ; a yellow-bead necklace ; an earring with silver chain and yellow bead attached ; a gold brooch, set with spray of reddish stones ; a gentlemen’s Liberty ring, set with diamond-shaped blue enamel ; a gold cross and chain ; a rolled-gold brooch, set with a fox-head ; and four pillow-cases, marked “E. B. Cunneen ”: total value, £9. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to a Man (name unknown), age about thirty-two, height about 5 ft. 7 in., strong build, tanned complexion, dark fuzzy hair, square chin ; dressed in a worn grey sports suit, no hat.

Between the 2nd and the 3rd instant the premises of DANIEL PRESCOTT GEORGE, storekeeper, 567 a Barbadoes Street, was broken into, and the following stolen therefrom : About £lO in silver and coppers, a nickelplated Swiss watch, and a quantity of cigarettes and tobacco of various brands ; total value, £SO.
