Wanganui. —On or about the 10th February last, from 294 Victoria Avenue, the property of MAUDE BREWER, St. John’s Hill, a ladies’ gold half-hoop ring, set with five diamonds; value, £3O. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to Bertram Cadenhead Crawley, age thirty-five, height 5 ft. 6 in., carrier, native of New Zealand, strong build, fresh complexion, dark-brown hair, blue eyes. He has been interviewed, but no evidence resulted.

Between the 28th March and the 28th April last, from the Royal Hotel, the property of CECIL HEIGHTON, taxi-driver, a shaving-outfit and a motordriver’s license (recovered), a brown-leather suit-case, with “ C.W.H.H.” in gold on it; and a Post Office Savings-bank book in complainant’s name : total value, about £5. Identifiable.
