Auckland. Lena Blazina, sentenced to one year’s probation for attempting to extort by threats, and causing a person to receive a letter containing a threat (vide Police Gazette, 1924, page 718). The Court of Appeal has set aside the verdict in this case, and the conviction is therefore to be deleted in all copies of the Police Gazette.
