Adelaide (South Australia). —On the 20th ultimo a warrant was issued at Adelaide for the arrest of Leslie Rowden Coombs, agent, for, on the 16th ultimo, fraudulently converting to his own use about £4OO, the property of G. A. Peach, of Auburn. Description : Age about thirty (looks about forty), height about 5 ft. 6 in., native of England, very stout and full-chested, very large mouth, dark complexion, clean-shaved, hair believed turning grey, eyes arc. weak (left eve especially), and has the appearance of being partially blind ; dressed in a grey suit and grey-tweed cap or a shabby serge suit; may be in possession of a bank-book and chequebook on the English, Scottish, and Australian Bank of Adelaide or Peterborough. He may be accompanied by a woman, age about forty-five, height about 5 ft. 3 in., thin build, brown hair turning grey. (P. 25/593.)
