INQUIRIES, ETC., FROM OUTSIDE NEW ZEALAND.
Perth (Western Australia). A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Leo Knight, charged with uttering a false document purporting to be a banker’s cheque drawn by Darlot Brothers, Limited, J. M. Keogh, Station-manager, Byro Account, on the National Bank, Geraldton, for the sum of £2OO, at Geraldton, on the 2nd August, 1924. Description : Age about forty-five, height 5 ft. 8 in., journalist and bookkeeper, native of New Zealand, stout build, ruddy complexion, short dark hair turning grey, full face, clean-shaved ; dressed in a suit made by Samuels, Perth ; wears glasses.
