Suspicion is attached to Walter McKay, alias James McKay, alias Charles Henry Walsh, alias Welch, referred to in preceding paragraph. He is now serving a sentence for similar offences.

Suspicion is attached to (1) John Buchanan, alias Buchan, age forty-three, height 5 ft. 10 in., fisherman, native of Australia, fair complexion, light-brown hair, blue eyes; dressed in a brown suit and soft-felt hat (see Police Gazette, 1922, page 13, and Photographs, 1919, page 51): and (2) John Pollard, age about forty, height about 5 ft. 11 in., fisherman; dressed in a brown or greenish shabby suit. They may be mullet-fishing in a boat named “ Sunlight.”

HamiIton. CHARLES GIBSON’S motor-bicycle stolen: Lionel David Carmichael, alias Frank Thompson, has been arrested by the Waitotara police for this offence. He abandoned the bicycle near Hamilton Hospital. (See Police Gazette, 1923, pages 471 and 483.)
