He hired a horse, saddle, and bridle from complainant and attempted to sell the saddle and bridle at Pukekohe. The horse was found abandoned at Paerata. He is identical with H. Cleveland, referred to in Police Gazette, 1923, page 586, and is also suspected of having stolen a saddle and bridle, value £4, the property of Charles Edward Finch, livery-stable keeper, Tuakau, which he obtained in a similar manner. / /
