Sydney (New South Wales). —A warrant has been issued for the arrest of William Benjamin for larceny of £448 19s. 2d., the property of Herbert Michael Salenger, at Sydney, on the 3rd October, 1922. Description : Age about forty-seven, height 5 ft. 6 in., strong build, dark complexion ; dressed in a blue-serge or grey suit and grey-felt hat; Jewish appearance. Melbourne (Victoria). lnquiries are requested for the following jewellery, the property of Mrs. Hector Wilson, Elm Grove, Richmond, which was stolen from the railwaystation at Genoa (Italy) on the 20th September, 1922 : A necklace of about sixty-one diamonds, square-set in platinum, graduated, known as a “ Riviere of diamonds ” ; a diamond necklace, enlaced links, broken clasp ; a dragon-fly of rubies, diamonds, and pearl, diamond wings ; a heart encrusted with diamonds ; a baroque pendant pearl with small surmount of diamonds ; a bracelet set with five coloured stones ; a gold virgin medallion by Roty ; a ring, one alexandrite between two diamonds ; a diamond marquise ring ; a grey-pearl ring ; a ring with two grey pearls and bar of three diamonds ; a ring set with grey pearl surrounded with diamonds ; a gold-and-diamond case, containing five pieces—bar for suspending trinkets, box with enclosed mirror, powder-box, tube, pencil, and glove-hook ; a ring, set with a black pearl ; a diamond marquise ring surrounded by rubies; a trefoil of diam nds ring; a ring, set with one ruby and one diamond ; a ring, iet with five diamonds ; a two-stone bar brooch surrounded by rose diamonds ; a pair of diamond earrings ; a brooch, crescent of diamonds ; a fly brooch, body partly formed by white pearl; a brooch, butterfly style, small diamonds ; a brooch, moonstone Oriental style ; a ring, set with a large turquoise ; a small ring ; a bracelet, set with a sapphire ; a pair of earrings, set with large white pearls ; a necklace of largo imitation pearls ; and £BOO in French notes : total value, £2,5,800.
