Auckland. On or about the 13th ultimo RICHARD THOMPSON’S billiard-room in Victoria Street was broken into, and the following money stolen therefrom : About 10s. in silver and copper, a sixpenny-piece, with a hole in centre, and a postal note for Is. ; total value, about 11s. Not identifiable.

Auckland. —On the 15th ultimo ELLEN FROST’S dwelling at 10 St. Mark’s Road was broken into, and the following articles stolen therefrom : A gold rope-pattern oval bracelet with scroll in centre and a tassel attached, a glass powder-box with a silver top, a blue-glass snuff-box with white flowers on it and a brass band round centre, an 18 ct. gold weddingring, and a pair of ladies’ fawn-doeskin or chamois-leather gauntlet gloves total value, £l3 11s. Suspicion is attached to Henry Lorraine Scott, alias Henry Walter Scott, age twenty-four, height 5 ft. 7 in., labourer, native of New Zealand.
