Maungaturoto.On or about 22nd July last, on warrant for theft of £1 Os. 4d., the property of Charles Albert Leach, butcher, Fred Ellis, age twenty-nine, height 5 ft. 9 in., labourer and carter, medium build, fair hair and complexion. Accused, who was employed by complainant, , collected the amount from Charles E. Scott, Postmaster, on terms requiring him to account for it to his employer, but failed to do so. He may be identical with Fred Ellis, referred to in Police Gazette, 1919, page 782. There is another charge pending.

Queen Street Wharf (Auckland). — John Roberts and Thomas Williams, breaking, entering, and theft: Warrants have now been issued for their arrest. (See Police Gazette, 1922, page 459.)
