Grant, No. 26/786,” on it, containing a dark-tweed suit, size 5 ; a pair of riding-breeches; three white shirts a set of hamper-straps ; nine £1 notes; a sovereign; 2s. 10£d. ; a leather pouch ; a returned soldier’s badge, No. 26/786; a nickel open-face watch, No. 638672 ; a gold-washed fetter-and-oval watch-chain, with a greenstone .pendant and a silver pencil-case attached; and a Post Office Savings-bank book, No. 398595: total value, £26.
