Auckland. —2nd March last, from a bedroom at the People’s Palace Hotel, the property of NEVILLE WILSON, a brown imitation leather suit-case, about 2 ft. long, containing a pair of blue-serge trousers, a dark-blue uniform (steward’s), coat and vest with silver buttons, a white coat, a singlet, three white shirts, three collars, a leather belt, and an army discharge in complainant’s name ; total value, £5 15s. Suspicion is attached to a Man (name unknown), age about thirty-one, height about 5 ft. 8 in., medium build, dark complexion, dark-brown hair, sharp features ; dressed in a brown suit and felt hat.

Te Aroha. -28th ultimo, from a motor-car outside the Church of England, the property of HAROLD STRANGE, Mangiti, a gentlemen’s dark-brown-tweed overcoat, belt on back, double row of buttons on front, “ Owl ” on tag, and “H. Strange ” written on inside of collar; value, £4 10s. Identifiable.
