APPREHENSIONS, PERSONS FOUND, ETC.

Auckland. — Thornton, theft, has been arrested by the Auckland police. His correct name is Frederick Trenowath. (See Police Gazette, 1921, page 609.)

Auckland. — James Henry Owens, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Stratford police. (See Police Gazette, 1921, page 729.)

Auckland. — Robert James Stormont, alias William Gibbons, absent from H.M.S. “ Chatham ” without leave, has been arrested by the Whangarei police. (See Police Gazette, 1921, page 732.)

Auckland. — Bert George Greenwood, default of maintenance, has paid the amount due to the Matamata police. (See Police Gazette, 1921, page 621.)

Rotorua. William Henry Moor, default of fine, has paid the amount due into Court. (See Police Gazette, 1921, page 496.)

Gisborne. — Alfred Horace Hopewell, failing to maintain: Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1921, page 210.)

New Plymouth. — Thomas Joseph Spalding, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the New Plymouth police. (See Police Gazette, 1921, page 705.)

New Plymouth. — J. Thomas, alias Watson, theft, has been arrested by the Palmerston North police. (See Police Gazette, 1921, page 730, and property recovered this issue.)

Palmerston North. — David Cameron, alias Duncan Stanley Cameron, false pretences, has been arrested by the Palmerston North police. (See Police Gazette, 1921, page 715.)

Wellington.— John Joseph Buckley, default of fines, &c., has been arrested by the Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1921, page 638.)

Wellington. — Norman Oswald Smith, alias Norman Charles Smith, breach of probationary license, has been arrested by the Christchurch police. (See Police Gazette, 1921, page 730.)

Wellington. Carlton Christian, failing to maintain : Warrant cancelled. (See Police Gazette, 1914, page 354.)

Christchurch. — Charles Hawkins Patterson, default of maintenance, has been arrested ‘by the St. Albans police. (See Police Gazette, 1921, page 566.)

Christchurch. — William Hamilton Ferguson Gibson, failing to maintain, died in Waikari Hospital on the sth instant. He had assumed the name Fraser. (See Police Gazette, 1921, page 680.)

Dunedin. — Richard Cochrane, alias Coekran, default of maintenance, has been arrested by the Taranaki Street (Wellington) police. He had assumed the name Robert Hendry. (See Police Gazette, 1921, page 452.)
