Queen Street Wharf (Auckland). —16th June last, from a luggage-room at the railway-station, the property of HENRY GOULD, fireman, s.s. “ Tofua,” a black canvas suit-case, containing several shirts, a grey jacket, a pair of black trousers, an Ever-ready safety razor, and shavingoutfit ; and a seaman’s black waterproof bag, containing a stoker’s outfit: total value, £7. On or about the 14th July last, from the Pipiroa Landing, the property of the NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT (Lands Department), a heavy cart-saddle, a pair of short hames with rings on them, and two crowbars, each 2 ft. 6 in. long, all branded with a broad-arrow ; total value, £3 15s. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to a Man (name unknown), age about forty-three, height 6 ft., slight build, pale complexion. Suspect was living with complainant when the money was stolen.
