INQUIRIES, ETC., FROM OUTSIDE NEW ZEALAND.

Melbourne (Victoria).lnquiries are requested for John Brooksbank, a native of St. Helena. He is said to have been on active service during the war, and was at Cape Town in 1918 or 1919, when on his way to Australia. Inquiry by the Melbourne police on behalf of his sister', Mrs. B. S. Ruddock, Que Que, Southern Rhodesia, South Africa. (P. 21/1083.)

Sydney (New South Wales). —A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Man (name unknown) who, in company with Henry Slater, alias Dunn, &c., referred to in New Zealand Police Gazette, 1921, page 467, is charged with the murder of Thomas Peter Monaghan at Sydney on the 19th June last. Description : Age twenty-two, height about 5 ft. 4 in., thin build, fair hair and complexion, clean-shaved, boyish face ; dressed in a black-serge suit and blue-felt bat with white edging on rims. He is believed to be identical with Harry Jones, alias Henry Wilson, alias Henry Nuekker Morton, alias George Woods (vide New South Wales Police Gazette, 1916, page 396), whose photographs appear, hereunder.
