Frankton Junction. -On the' 18th and 19th ultimo, JAMES BUSHBY’S dwelling in Queen’s Avenue was broken into, and the following articles and money stolen therefrom : A Waterman fountain pen, with two gold bands on it and a gold nib, and about 12s. Pen only identifiable. Suspicion is attached to a Man (name unknown), age about eighteen, height 5 ft,, short; dressed in brown riding-breeches and brown-leather leggings. He may be identical with Reilly, referred to in Police Gazette, 1921, page 162.

Johnson villi? .— On or about the 6th instant, from off a handcart at the Paekakariki Post-office, the property of the NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT (Post and Telegraph Department), a green tarpaulin, 8 ft. by 4 ft., with “ P. & T.” and a broad-arrow on it; value, £2. Identifiable.

Wellington.— Between the 28th January last and the Ist ultimo, while in transit between Petone and Christchurch, the property of THE WELLINGTON WOOLLEN MANUFACTURING COMPANY, a ladies’ light-grey artificial-silk jumper, with coral-pink straps over breast and on lower part; a ladies’ biscuit-coloured artificial-silk jumper, with emerald green straps over breast and on lower part; two ladies’ biscuitcoloured artificial-silk jumpers, with pale blue around bottom and on sleeves; two champagne-coloured artificial-silk jumpers, with saxe-blue collar and saxe-blue band around bottom and on sleeves ; and two pink artificial-silk jumpers, with saxe-blue collars and saxe-blue band around bottoms and around sleeves : total value, £l7 19s.
