Kihikihi. —The above is a photograph of Gordon Thomas Amunsden, alias Gordon Amunsden, who escaped from Waikeria Prison about 2.30 p.m. on the 9th instant. Description : Age twenty-two, height 5 ft. 5 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, medium build, fresh complexion, brown hair, blue eyes, scar on left upper arm and on abdomen, two scars on right knee ; dressed in blue-dungaree trousers, white flannel shirt, and heavy boots (no coat or hat).
