The Admiralty has notified, through the Naval Adviser. Wellington, that warrants for deserters from the Navy prior to August, 1914, be suspended for the present. No action on these warrants will therefore be taken by the police until further notice. (C.R. 20/275.)

Queen Street Wharf (Auckland). —George Porter, absent from ship without- leave, has been arrested by the Auckland police. (See Police Gazette, 1920, page 749.)

Freeman’s Bay. Walter Crawford MeGonagle, alias Walter McKay, failing to maintain, has been arrested by the Tokomaru Bay police. (See Police Gazette, 1920, page 749.)

Auckland. — Alfreda Dawson, missing, has been located by the Taranaki Street (Wellington police. (See Police Gazette, 1921, page 7.)

Auckland. — Cyril J. Storey, false pretences, has been arrested by the Auckland police. His correct name is John Andrew Riddell. (See Police Gazette, 1920, page 737, and following paragraph.)

Pukekohe.— Ngakuru Tuaru Pukeroa, alias Te Teke, theft, has been arrested by the Wanganui police. He had assumed the name Jack Henry. (See Police Gazette, 1920, page 494.)

Napier. — Richard Carlysle, theft, has been arrested by the Taranaki Street (Wellington) police. (See Police Gazette, 1920, page 456.)

Levin. — Patrick O’Callaghan, absconding from industrial school, has been arrested by the, Masterton police. He had assumed the name James Stewart. (See Police Gazette, 1920, page 484.) T -
