.Taranaki Street (Wellington). —About 9.20 p.m. on the 30th May last three plate-glass windows, value £IBO, in the premises of John Chambers and Sons, warehousemen, Cable Street, were wilfully broken. Any information regarding the offence is to be communicated to the Superintendent of Police, Wellington.

Invercargill. —On the 23rd ultimo a launch carrying a small canvas mail-bag labelled “Half-moon Bay to Ulva,” containing mail-matter was wrecked. It is thought the mail-bag may have been washed ashore. If any information is obtained regarding it a communication is to be sent to the Inspector of Police, Inveroargill.
