SPECIAL NOTICE.

Dunedin. —On the 20th ultimo, the dead body of a newly born female child was found wrapped in a sack on St. Clair Beach. A post-mortem examination disclosed the fact that the child was born alive, and had been asphyxiated by tying a piece of sheeting tightly around the neck. If any information is obtained regarding this matter, an urgent communication is to be sent to the Superintendent of Police, Dunedin.
