SPECIAL NOTICE.
Greymouth. About 1.45 a.m. on the 29th May last a dwellinghouse in Arney Street, owned by the New Zealand Government and occupied by James Kerr Simpson, Senior Sergeant of police, was wilfully damaged by an explosion caused by gelignite or other high explosive ignited by about 11 ft. of fuse. Special efforts are to be made to trace the offender or offenders.
£2OO Reward. Whereas on the 29th May, 1919, the house occupied by the Senior Sergeant of Police at Greymouth was damaged by an explosion, and there is reason to believe that the damage was wilfully caused by some person or persons unknown: It is hereby notified that a reward of two hundred pounds (£200) will be paid for information leading to the arrest of the person or persons proved to have caused the said damage.
