Freeman’s Bay. —loth September last, from the Rob Roy Hotel, the property of MRS. CHARLES BOYLE, a ladies’ white silk night-gown, trimmed with fancy lace; value, £3. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to a Woman (name unknown), age about thirty-eight, height sft. 11 in., slight build, fresh complexion; dressed in a dark-blue skirt, blue-silk blouse, white tam-o’-shanter, and a shabby overcoat, repaired between shoulders.

Queen Street Wharf (Auckland).— Between the 4th and 7th ultimo from the s.s. “ Oneroa,” the property of ALFRED GEORGE FRANKHAM, Hellaby’s Buildings, three plain brown-leather boat-oushions, about 3 ft. long ; one dozen and a half knives, forks, and spoons ; a set of silver-mounted carvers; a box containing about a dozen plates, cups, and paucers; a dinner-bell; two small axes; two small mattresses; and two pairs of oars: total value, £lO. Gisborne. —l7th October last from the post-office yard, the property of LEONARD FAULKNER, 666 Gladstone Road, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled free-wheel bicycle, straight handles, portion of brake on back wheel, saddle broken, with a padlock fastened to it; value, £6. Identifiable.

Waverley. —Between the 16th and 30th ultimo from a bedroom at the Clarendon Hotel, the property of ARTHUR ALBERT FANTHAM, licensee, a gentlemen’s gold doublecase old-fashioned watch with “ Canterbury A. and P. Association, First Prize, value £25, awarded to A. A. Fantham, 1876,” inside case. Identifiable. Suspicion is attached to J. Mcßride, age about thirty-seven, height about sft.
