PROPERTY STOLEN.

Mount Roskill. —Between 10th and 17th July last, from a shed at the back of 32 Volcanic Street, Mount Eden, the property of RUTH SCANLON, a horizontal model steamengine and boiler in case, 18 in. by 12 in. by 24 in. ; value, £5. Identifiable.

Auckland. —Between 31st May and 21st July last, from the booby-hatch of the yacht “ Aorere ” at Devonport, the property of HENRY McGILL, 424 Queen Street, Auckland, a long-shank patent galvanized anchor, weight about 701 b., and about 45 fathoms of § in. galvanized anchor-chain ; total value, £2B. Identification doubtful.

Auckland. —lsth July last, from the office of GEORGE FOWLDS, a gentlemen’s brown Burberry raincoat, threequarter length, stains on cuffs and collar ; value, £5. Identifiable.

Auckland. —7th July last, from outside the Tepid Baths, Sturdee Street, the property of RURU LEWIS, Mount Eden Road, a boys’ small-gear bicycle, no mud-guards, new pedal on left side, wide handle-bars, Oceanic tires ; value, £3. Identifiable.

Paekoa. —About the sth ultimo, from the road at Rotokohu, the property of PETER PIPPIN, Rotokohu, a darkred cow, six weeks off calving, two slits under off ear, branded W on off rump, short turned-in horns ; value, £l6. Identifiable.

Te Aroha.— JOIDAS EDWARD THOMAS’S watches, &c., stolen : It has now been ascertained that the number of gold watch is 15906520, repair number 1994 H.B. ; silver watch number 157780, repair number 32111 H.B. The cashbox has been found under a bush in Burgess Street. (See Police Gazette , 1918, page 497.)

Gisborne. —lßth July last, from outside the Cosmopolitan Club, the property of JOHN CEDRIC NISBETT, care of Common, Shelton, Limited, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled free-wheel Rover bicycle, No. 92, hub- and front-rim brakes, slightly curved handle-bars with black grips; value, £7 10s. Identifiable.

Gisborne. —14th ultimo, from outside the Cosmopolitan Club, the property of CHARLES JAMES BOLLEN, Makaraka, a gentlemen’s free-wheel hlack-enamelled bicycle, B.SA. sprocket-wheel, back pedalling brake, adjustable handle-bars with black grips, rat-trap pedals ; value, £5. Identifiable.

Hawera. —WALTER HARRISON'S watch, &c., stolen : The medal has been found in complainant’s yard. (See Police Gazette, 1918, page 259.)

Wellington.— 23rd ultimo, from 125 Lambton Quay, the property of the NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT (Department of Imperial Government Supplies), a gentlemen’s black-enamelled B.S.A. bicycle, No. 638, 24 in. frame, front and back-pedalling brakes, Brookes saddle, rubber pedals, Britannia tires, black-leather grips ; value, £3. Identifiable.

Christchurch.- 12th June last, from the Terminus Hotel, the property of CHARLES FRASER, 34 Antigua Street, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled Butler bicycle, No. TsiV n s , upturned handles, red line on rims, Dunlop tires, rubber pedals, steel mud-guards; value, £lO 10s. Identifiable.

Christchurch. 23rd June last, from Queen Street, Sydenham, the property of FREDERICK CHAPMAN, 34 Lytton Street, Sydenham, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled Adams Superb Swift bicycle No. reversible handles with black grips, half nickel rims, nickel pedals, Dunlop tires, Brookes saddle, Bluemels mud-guards, dent in top bar ; value, £ls 10s. Identifiable.
