PROPERTY STOLEN.

Queen Street Wharf (Auckland). from clothing in a room at 176 Queen Street, a silver openface keyless Pasooe watch, luminous bands (a heavy silver watch-chain and a nickel sovereign-case attached), and £1 3s. in money, total value £3 Bs., identifiable except money, the property of WALTER GEORGE HANCOCK, 22 Clarence Street, Ponsonby; also a black-leather purse, containing 2s. 9d. and a threepenny-piece with a hole in it, total value about 35., purse only identifiable, the property of PEARL FULLER, waitress.

Auckland.— l9th April last, from the Fruit market, the property of HAROLD C. PERKINS, 26 Williamson’s Avenue, Grey Lynn, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled B.S.A. bioycle, down-turned racing-handles, Eadie two-speed hub, hub chain-wheel (eighteen teeth), new tire on front wheel; value, £9 10s. Identifiable.

Auckland. —lst instant from a desk in FREDERICK CHARLES KNIGHT’S shop at Newmarket, a £2O note and a£s note. Not identifiable.

Auckland. —l4th ultimo, from a benzine-shed in the railway goods-yard, the property of the NEW ZEALAND GOVERNMENT (Railway Department), a 251 b. case of gunpowder, addressed “J. Steel, c/o Dairy Factory, Ngongotaha”; and a case of benzine, addressed “ J. A. Renall, c/o ‘The Dawn,’ Onehunga”: total value, £3 11s. lOd. Identifiable by addresses only.

Auckland. —Between the 9th May last and the 6th ultimo, from a shop in Queen Street, the property of the LE GROVE TYPEWRITING COMPANY, 14 Victoria Arcade, a No. 3 model Corona typewriter, No. 126676, universal keyboard, figure and capital shift, in a square black case with handle and plated fasteners ; value, £ls 15s. Identifiable.

Auckland. — 20th May last, from a dwelling in Nelson Avenue, the property of ISABEL HEAVEY, a 9ct. gold scarf-pin, with map of Australia inside ring attached; and £1 35.: total value, £1 Bs. Ring identifiable.

Gisborne. —14th May last, from Manutuke, the property of ARCHIBALD LECKIE, constable, a black-enamelled Premier bicycle, helical tubing in frame, two top bars, drooped handles, front-rim and back-pedalling brake, fixed oil-box for driving-chain, acetylene-lamp, and pump and bell attached ; value, £ls. Identifiable.

Carlyle Street (Napier). — 25th ultimo, from Clive Square, the property of FRANK NELSON McGEE, Vigor Brown Street, a gentlemen’s dark-green B.S.A. bicycle, leather grips, flap attached to front mud-guard, “ McGee” stamped on saddle; also a small leather handbag, which was hanging on handlebars: total value, £4. Identifiable.

Masterton. —Bth ultimo, from Jones and Co.’s garage, the property of MELVA ROFF, clerk, a ladies’ blackenamelled Rover bicycle, straight handles, chain-guard missing, new mud-guards, rubber pedals (right one bent), new tire on back wheel; value, £3. Identifiable.

Christchurch. —Ist instant, from a bathroom at the City Buffet Hotel, the property of FLORA MAUD CHALMERS HYMAN, a ladies’ gold open-face expanding wristlet watch, No 637740, wristlet has been enlarged near watch; value, £lO. Identifiable.

Christchurch. —18th May last, from Victoria Square, the property of IVY L. JENKINS, machinist, 3 York Street, Opawa. a ladies’ black-enamelled free-wheel Star bicycle, No. B reen grips, front and back brakes, plated rims ; value, £3. Identifiable.

Christchurch. —18th May last, from the front of Everybody’s Theatre, the property of GEORGE MARTINENGO, 79 Chester Street, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled free-wheel bicycle, No. 2082, upturned handles with black grips (left one broken), Eadie brake, rat-trap pedals; value, £B. Identifiable.

Christchurch. —Between the 27th March and the 3rd April last, from the dwelling of ETHEL M. RENNIE, 105 St. Martin’s Road, Opawa, a gold bar brooch, set with an oval blue opal with small chip out of one side; and a Post Office Savings-bank book, containing 15s. : total value, £4 ss. Brooch identifiable.

Christchurch. —l2th ultimo, from a motor-car in the Caledonian Hall right-of-way, the property of HAROLD CHARLES TRUSCOTT, Cashel Street, a large brown rug, with cross yellow stripes on one side and yellow and brown plaid on the other ; value, £5. Identifiable.

Timaru. —loth ultimo, from Barnard Street, the property of LYALL McKENZIE, 61 Bank Street, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled free-wheel B.S.A. bicycle, upturned handles with black grips, rubber pedals, back-pedalling brake, federal tires ; value, £5. Identifiable.

Timaru. —ll l h from Stafford Street, the property of LESLIE MARTIN, 7 Barnard Street, a gentlemen’s threespeed gear B.S.A. bicycle, black-enamelled with red and gold lines, wide handles, rubber pedals, back-rim brnke, celluloid mud-guards ; value, £7. Identifiable.

Timaru. —26th ultimo, from a gig in Trengrove’s yard, Sefton Street, the property of FURNEAUX SMITH, Temuka, a Kaiapoi rug, dark-green on one side and grey check on the other; and a greenish check overcoat with patch over right hip, two large and a small outside pockets : total value, £5. Identifiable.

Balclutha. —10th May last, from outside the Courthouse, the property of J. L. DOUGAN, a gentlemen’s 24 in. Stirling bicycle, with “ E. J. Dougan, Cycle Maker, Lower Hutt,” on back upright bar, back-pedalling brake, left grip missing, mud-guard on front wheel; value, £5. Identifiable.

Lumsden. —Between the Ist January and Bth March last, from JOHN JOHNBTON’S farm at Longridge, Balfour, thirty-three six- and eight-tooth Romney cross ewes; and thirty-three mixed lambs, ewes earmarked with a back bit out of left ear, and wethers similarily earmarked on opposite ears; all branded J B conjoined : total value, £B2 10s. Identifiable.
