PROPERTY STOLEN.

Auckland.— On the 3rd ultimo, GILBERT CASEY’S dwelling at 22 Edendale Road, Mount Eden, was broken into, and a gold bird-claw tie pin, set with a large pearl in claws, value £lO 10s. (identifiable), stolen therefrom.

Hamilton. —16th ultimo, from Collingwood Street, the property of LANCE BRODIE, railway employee, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled bicycle, straight handles with darkgreen grips (one missing), back-pedalling brake, steel mudguards (new one on front wheel), tape loops on each axle ; value, £5. Identifiable.

Taihape. —l3th ultimo, from Station Street, the property of JACK GARMONEWAY, Mataroa, a gentlemen’s free-wheel Red Bird bicycle, upturned handles (grips missing), steel pedals, back-pedalling brake, red wood mud-guard on front wheel, black steel mud-guard on back wheel, large saddle; value, £4 ss. Identifiable.l

Waipukurau.— Between 11th and 13th March last, JOHN LOUIS STODDARD’S motor-sbed was broken into, and a Thompson-Bennett motor-car magneto, value £l6, stolen therefrom.

Wellington. —On or about January last, from OSCAR GREER’S farm at Tawa Flat, between sixty and eighty Romney Marsh lambs, ewes, and wethers, mostly stores, ages up to full-mouthed, ewes earmarked with two slits in right ear and tip off left ear, wethers similarly earmarked on opposite ears; value, £1 Bs. each. Identifiable.

Christchurch. — On the sth ultimo, HORATIO BARTER’S dwelling at 93 St. Martin’s Road was broken into, and the following property stolen therefrom : A gentlemen’s silver hunting Rotherhams watch, No. 300081 ; a gentlemen’s silver hunting Waltham watch, No. 14690271 ; a 15 ct. gold Maltese cross medal with “ 1.0.0. F.” and “ R Barter” on it; a gold curb albert; and three £1 notes : total value, £l3. Identifiable exoept monej.

Christchurch. —lst ultimo, from a yard at the Masonic Hotel, the property of ANDREW JAMES McENTEE, 533 Gloucester Street, a gentlemen’s free-wheel B.S.A. bicycle, No. 333, upturned handles (grips missing), rat-trap pedals, two brakes (one out of order), light steel mud-guard on back wheel, small Brooks motor-saddle; value, £3. Identifiable.

Christchurch. —10th ultimo, from the Tepid Baths, the property of THOMAS JOLL, letter-carrier, a gentlemen’s black-enamelled free-wheel Royal Superb Swift bicycle, No. black grips, rubber pedals, two rim-brakes, steel mud guards, gear-case slightly scratched; value, £ls. Identifiable.

Christchurch. —16th March last, from Cashel S’reet, the property of ROBERT PITCAITHLY, care of D. H. Brown and Son, Lichfield Street, a gentlemen’s Speedy bicycle, No. 1051, upturned handles, forks almost straight, one pedal broken, gear-wheel has been braised, celluloid mud-guard on back wheel, Dunlop Welch tire 3 ; value, £5 10s. Identifiable.

Mkthven. —2nd April last, from the bicycle-stand behind the post-office, the property of ALBERT GEORGE SEELER, Postmaster, a gentlemen’s black - enamelled free-wheel Butler bicycle, straight handles, rat-trap pedals, backpedalling brake, steel mud-guards; value, £5. Identifiable.

Timaru. —Between the Ist March last and 11th ultimo, from a paddock on the main road, the property of FREDERICK HENRY BUCKLEY, Cattle Valley, 165 halfbred two-, four-, six-, and eight-tootu ewes, branded DX in red on near shoulder, and earmarked differently, some with a fore quarter out of right ear and a slit in left ear, some with a fore quarter out of each ear, and others with a fore quarter out of right ear and fore bit out of left ear ; total value, £302 10s. Identifiable.
