PERSONS WANTED.

Auckland. —22nd November, 1916, on warrant of commitment to Mount Eden Prison for seven days in default of paying £2 6s. fine and costs for wilful damage, John Twomey, age forty-nine, height 5 ft. 9| in., labourer, native of Ireland, medium build, fair complexion, lightbrown hair going bald, blue eyes, soar on right side of chin. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 850.)

Auckland. —lsth January last, that a summons for using indecent language in Darby Street may be served upon her, Jane Watson, age about forty, height about 5 ft. 5 in., domestic, native of New Zealand, medium build, fresh complexion, brown hair, blue eyes.

Napier. —2lst ultimo, on three warrants of commitment to Napier Prison for— (1) one month in default of paying 15s. balance of fine and costs for obscene language, (2) seven days in default of paying £1 7s. fine and costs for obstructing a railway guard, and (3) seven days in default of paying £1 7s. fine and costs for refusing to produce his railway ticket, William Alexander Bond, age about twentyone, height about 6 ft. 1 in., labourer and seaman, native of England, thin build, fair complexion, sandy hair; Cockney accent.

Wanganui. —lst instant, that proceedings for failing to notify his charge of address may be instituted against him, Frederick Abbot, age thirty-five, height 5 ft. 6 in., mechanic, native of New Zealand, medium build, fresh complexion, brown hair, clean-shaved.

Masterton. —Ist instant, that proceedings for failing to notify his change of address may be instituted against him, Charles Albert Dew, age thirty-four, height 6 ft. If in., farm labourer, native of Australia, medium build.

Wellington.— sth ultimo, on warrant of commitment to Wellington Prison for twenty-four hours in default of paying 13s. fine and costs for drunkenness, George Anderson Millar, age forty-six, height 5 ft. 7 in., labourer, native of Scotland, slight build, fresh complexion, brown hair, blue eyes, scar on top of head and over left eye. Wellington.— 2Bth ultimo, on warrant of commitment to Wellington Prison for six weeks in default of paying £9 3s. arrears of maintenance due for the support of his wife, Edith Lillian Clarke, Charles Oakley Clarke, age thirty, height 5 ft. 9 in., clerk, native of New Zealand, medium build, dark complexion, brown hair and eyes.

Wellington.— 22nd ultimo, on two warrants of commitment to Wellington Prison for—(1) forty-eight hours in default of paying 13s. fine and costs for helpless drunkenness, and (2) seven days in default of paying £1 Os. 6d. medical expenses, Robert Douglas Kenny, age thirtythree, height 5 ft. 7 in., clerk, native of New Zealand, medium build, pale complexion, dark hair, brown eyes.

Wellington.—3rd instant, that proceedings for failing to notify his change of address may be instituted against him, Fred Morris, age twenty-nine, height 5 ft. 7 in., labourer, medium build.

Christchurch. —23rd ultimo, for escaping from Sunnyside Mental Hospital, Harry Gordon Mcßeth, age forty-four, height 5 ft. B£in., traveller, native of Canada, medium build, dark complexion, dark»brown hair, blue eyes, scar on throat, black moustache; dressed in greytweed trousers and vest.
