Newton. 9th January last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Percy Collins, age twenty, height sft. 3in., stable-hand, native of New Zealand.

Queen Street Wharf (Auckland). —17th May last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Henry Tukis, age twenty-one, height 5 ft. 9 in., seaman.

Auckland. —9th January last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, James Stewart Trickett, labourer, height 5 ft. in.

Auckland.—l7th May last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Archibald Baxter, baker and seaman.

Auckland. —9th January last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Alfred Barnett, age twenty-three, height 5 ft. 7 in., steward and porter, native of Australia, medium build, fair oomplexion, brown hair, blue eyes, scar on right forearm and on left leg. Auckland.- 9th January last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Charles Ralph, age twenty-three, height 5 ft. 8 in., chemist, native of New Zealand.

Auckland.— 9th January last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Harry Duggan, height 5 ft. 7 in., waterproof-coat maker.

Auckland. —9th January last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Albert Macdonald, age forty-five, height 5 ft. 6 in., draper’s porter, native of England, stout build, dark hair.

Mount Eden (Auckland). —9th January last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, John Sharpe, age thirty-eight, height 5 ft. 1 in., cook, slight build, sallow complexion, blue eyes, brown hair turning grey, scar on nose, heart on eaoh forearm, right hip dislocated, left leg deformed. Papakura. —9th January last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Richard Alfred Brown, age thirty-eight, height 5 ft. in., carter. He may be identical with Richard Brown, referred to in Police Gazette, 1916, page 21.

Tuakau. —22nd November last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Robert McKenzie, age twenty-one, height 5 ft. 7 in., shearer and bushfeller, native of New Zealand, slight build, dark complexion, black hair, brown eyes; usually dressed in a dark suit and fawn soft-felt hat; well spoken ; good looking ; a half-caste Maori. Paeroa. —2sth October last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, George Keys, age thirty-three, height 5 ft. 7 in., native of New Zealand, labourer, medium build, fresh complexion, grey eyes, dark hair turning grey.

Waihi. —9th January last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Frank Charles Ratcliffe, age twenty-eight, height 6 ft. lin., labourer and hotel porter, native of England, strong build, dark complexion, curly dark hair, blue eyes; erect gait; subject to epileptio fits ; usually dressed in a blue suit.

Te Aroha.—2sth October last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Patrick O’Donoghue, age twenty-one, height oft. 9 in., farmer, native of New Zealand, medium build, fresh oomplexion, dark hair and eyes.

Huntly.— l4th ultimo, on military warrant for failing to proceed to camp, Francis Charles Healey, age about twenty-five, height 5 ft. 8 in., labourer and miner, native of Ireland, strong build, fresh complexion, brown hair and eyes, clean-shaved; usually dressed in a grey suit, jockey tweed cap, and tan boots.

Huntly.— l7th May last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Richard William Martin, age thirty-nine, height 5 ft. 8 in., labourer, native of England, medium build, fair complexion, light-brown hair, blue eyes; usually dressed in dungaree trousers, shabby coat and vest, and brown softfelt hat.

Te Kuiti.—9th January last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medioal examination, Joseph Charles Husband, age forty-four, height 5 it. 5 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, slight build, sallow complexion, dark-brown hair, one ankle weak.

Kihikihi. —9th January last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Jeremiah Kirby, age thirty-nine, height 5 ft. 7£ in., fireman, native of England, medium build, dark oomplexion, brown hair and eyes. (See Police Gazette, 1916, page 163.)

Hunterville.—l2th July last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Walter Scott, age twenty - three, height 5 ft. 3 in., native of New Zealand, medium build, fair complexion, sandy hair, blue eyes ; appears to be of weak intellect.

Marton. —9th January last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Alexander Frederick, age twenty, height 5 ft. 5 in., gardener, left forefinger missing.

Masterton.— sth December last, on military warrant for deserting from the Expeditionary Force, John Roche, age twenty - seven, height 5 ft. s£in., native of England, dark hair and complexion, blue eyes, scar on each side of neck, tattoo-marks on forearms.

Carterton.—9th January last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Thomas Brown, age twenty-nine, height 5 ft. 5 in., seaman and labourer.

Wellington. —9th January last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, John Parkinson, age twenty-seven, height 5 ft. 9 in., shearer, native of Australia, medium build, fresh complexion, brown hair and eyes.

Wellington.—l2th July last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, George Fairbrass, age twenty-six, height 5 ft. 6 in., seaman, flat feet. He left New Zealand on the 4th July, 1916, as a member of the crew of the s.s. “ Star of Australia.”

Taranaki Street (Wellington).—l2th July last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Donald Attrell Blair, age twenty-six, height 5 ft. 7in., medium build, dark hair and complexion, hazel eyes.

Kaikoura. —9th January last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, John Campbell, age twenty-six, height 5 ft. 1£ in., engineer, native of New Zealand.

Murchison.—9th January last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, James Timothy O’Connor, age twenty-seven, height 5 ft. 8 in., labourer and miner.

Blackwater.—6th ultimo, on military warrant for failing to proceed to camp, George Edward White, age forty, height sft in., miner, native of Australia, slim build, fresh complexion, dark hair, brown eyes ; stooping gait.

Greymouth.—6th ultimo, on military warrant for failing to proceed to camp, Austin John Hoult, age about thirty, height 5 ft. 8 in., draper, medium build, dark complexion, black hair, brown eyes.

Greymouth.—6th ultimo, on military warrant for failing to proceed to camp, George Hanrahan, age thirty-one years, height 5 ft. 9 in., carter, native of New Zealand, medium build, fair complexion, dark hair, hazel eyes.

Christchurch. —12th ultimo, on military warrant for failing to proceed to camp, Leslie Williams, age about thirty, height 5 ft. 6 in., native of Australia, medium build, dark complexion, dark-brown hair, brown eyes; usually dressed in light-grey suit and felt hat.

Christchurch. —9th January last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, William J. Roche, age twenty-nine, farm hand.

Christchurch. warrant for deserting from Expeditionary Force, William George Price, age twenty-one, height 5 ft. 5 in., motor mechanic, fair complexion, brown hair, grey eyes. He may be in company with Frederick Harry Paintin, referred to in Police Gazette , 1918, page 133.

Christchurch. —9th January last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, William Arthur Fyfe, age thirty - eight, height 5 ft. in., strong build, fair complexion, fair hair, blue eyes, speaks as though he has deformity in roof of mouth; usually dressed in dark-grey dirty suit.

Lincoln.—2oth November last, on military warrant for deserting from Expeditionary Force, William Henry Lynch, age thirty, height 5 ft. 6 in., native of New Zealand, medium build, fair complexion, dark hair, grey eyes.

Southbridge.—2sth October last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Charles Winchman, age forty-one, height 5 ft. in., fisherman, erect build, fresh complexion, brown hair; usually dressed in a dark-tweed suit and soft-felt hat. This warrant is incorrectly shown on page 178 of this Gazette as having been cancelled.

Otautau.—llth ultimo, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Clarence Barker, age twenty-one, height 5 ft. 4 in., labourer, native of New Zealand, stout build, fair hair and complexion, blue eyes.
