Avondale.—2sth October last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Arthur Wilton, age twenty-nine, height 5 ft. 8 m., miner.

Queen Street Wharf (Auckland). Gordon Reid, failing to parade for medical examination : The following further description of accused has been supplied by the Queen Street Wharf (Auckland) police : Sallow complexion, fair hair, blue eyes ; quiet disposition. He left the s.s. “Makura” at Sydney on the 9th May last. (See Police Gazette, 1918, page 7.)

Auckland. — 22nd November last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Percy William Foley, alias James Falkner, alias Watson, age twenty - eight, height 5 ft. sJin., porter, labourer plumber, and carpenter, native of New Zealand, slim build, dark complexion, brown hair, hazel eves, clean-shaved; woman on right forearm ; heart, clasped hands, and “ True love ” on left forearm ; stooping gait. Auckland. — William Drury, deserting from Expeditionary Force : The following further description has been supplied by the Auckland police: Medium build, fresh complexion, dark hair; erect gait; smart appearance. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 726.)

Auckland. — 25th October last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Thomas Ward Bromley, age thirty-one, height 5 ft. 6|in., fireman.

Mount Eden. 22nd November last, on military warrant for failing to proceed to camp. Henry Barr Duncan, age twenty-six, height 5 ft. 8 in., commission agent, native of New Zealand, medium build, fair complexion, dark-brown hair, blue eyes; usually wears a gold watch-chain with a pugilist’s medal attached ; a heavy cigarette-smoker. Huntly. —22nd November last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, Thomas Flanagan, age thirty, height 5 ft. 6 in., labourer, native of Ireland, slight build, ruddy complexion, dark-brown hair and moustache, blue eyes ; fond of drink.

Manunui. —2sth October last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, William Bennett, age thirty-five, height 5 ft. 10 in., labourer, medium build, fresh complexion, dark hair.

Taumarunui.— 7th ultimo, on military warrant for deserting from Expeditionary Force, Patrick Toohey, age twenty-six, height 5 ft. 9 in., farm labourer, native of Ireland, medium build, fair complexion, brown hair, hazel eyes. (See Police Gazette, 1917, page 728.)

Hastings. for failing to parade for medical examination, James Nicholson, age twenty-seven, height 5 ft. 8 in.

Waverley.— 2sth October last, on military warrant for failing to parade for medical examination, William Edward Brown, age twenty-three, jockey, native of New Zealand, strong build, fresh complexion, light-brown hair; dull intellect; an ex-Weraroa boy.

Waipawa. —6th October last, on military warrant for escaping from the detention barracks at Wellington, Harry Alexander Donghi, age twenty-one, height 5 ft. B£in., farmer, native of New Zealand, medium build, fresh complexion, dark-brown hair, brown eyes.

Rahotu. for failing to proceed to camp, John Sweetman, age thirty-three, height 5 ft. 7Jin., farm labourer and miner, native of New Zealand, medium build, dark hair and complexion, clean-shaved, large mouth ; usually dressed in a dark suit and broad-rimmed black hard-felt hat.

Wanganui. for failing to parade for medical examination, Henry E. Taylor, age thirty-six, height 5 ft. 6£in., freezing-works hand, medium build.

Upper Hutt. —sth ultimo, on military warrant for deserting from Expeditionary Force, Archibald Charles Andrew Scott, age twenty, height 5 ft. 9 in., farmer, native of blew Zealand, medium build and complexion, light-brown hair, grey eyes. Next-of-kin, William Scott (father), Mangawai. He was last employed by Mrs. Lightband, Nile Street, Nelson.

Upper Hutt. —2Bth November last, on military warrant for deserting from Expeditionary Force, Harold Andrews, age thirty-seven, height 5 ft. sfin., driver, native of New Zealand, medium build, dark complexion, brown hair, blue eyes, tattooed on arms. Next-of-kin, D. Andrews, Belmont, Lower Hutt.

Upper Hutt. —l9th November last, on military warrant for deserting from Expeditionary Force, William Holihan, age thirty three, height 5 ft. 7fin., farm labourer, native of New Zealand, medium build, dark complexion, dark-brown hair, blue eyes, operation-scar on left groin. Next-of-kin, Martha Holihan (wife), Eketahuna. He was last employed by J. Donaldson, Rangioutu.
